Chartwell’s Food Service News Spring 2008

Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,

Enjoy these fun facts!

· 26 Food Service Staff in 6 schools made and served 46,565 meals in the month of November 2007

· Every Friday the elementary school children consume approximately 100 pizzas

· During the 2007-2008 school year, the food service department will receive over $27,000 in USDA donated food

· Approximately 125 gallons of milk is consumed daily by our students

REMINDERS: We are quickly approaching the end of the school year. All money owed needs to be paid before school lets out for the summer. Also, for those of you that pay in advance, please don’t send more money than your child can use before the year ends. Because those funds go directly to the bank there is a lengthy process involving paperwork and time that must happen in order to get you a refund. Thank you for your cooperation.
