Would you like your son’s or daughter’s name permanently inscribed at ARHS in a meaningful way? The Amherst Regional High School Library is pleased to offer a: "Posterity on the Pages" Book Fair. You may honor your son, daughter, a teacher, or a staff member by purchasing and dedicating a book in his or her name to the ARHS Library. Your honoree will have a book plate and dedication message adhered inside the book.

Summer School 2008 will run from June 25 through July 23. For more information about registration and course offerings, see the program guide.

Tutors from Amherst College are available in the library after school on Monday,Tuesday, and Thursday. Students may receive assistance in all major subject areas, as well as SAT prep and editing papers. Take advantage of this great resource!

To learn more about the transition from the middle school to the high school, students and families are encouraged to view the presentation from Family Curriculum Night and to read about the new 9th grade science course. The Program of Studies provides information about courses students will be taking next year.

When a student is absent, parents and guardians are encouraged to call 362-1718 to report the absence. Leaving a message at this voice mail eliminates the need to write an excuse note for the absence. IMPORTANT: phone calls are not accepted after the day of the absence. Excuse notes are not accepted after 48 hours from the student’s return to school.
