This course is designed to familiarize students with the law as it relates to business practices. It also examines how the law influences relationships in business and the world.  Topics covered include, but are not limited to, ethics, the court system, contract law and business operations.  Students participate actively in learning fundamental principles, analyzing case studies, a mock trial and a team project. Computers will be utilized for research and preparation of materials for presentations. This course provides a solid foundation for those students planning to pursue a program of study in business at the college level.
