ELL Composition I

Course Description

ELL Composition I 065B 4 Credits

ELL Composition I is a two-trimester course for students with little or no proficiency in English.  Students learn to express their ideas through the writing process beginning with single paragraphs and progressing to multi-paragraph compositions.  Students learn to edit their own writing and continue to study basic English grammar and build vocabulary using various readings.  Students must achieve proficiency at this level in order to transition from the course.
