NOTE: THIS COURSE COMPRISES THE FIRST TWO TRIMESTERS OF GERMAN INTERMEDIATE.

This course increases communication skills and reinforces basic reading and writing skills in the context of contemporary German culture. Contextualized language laboratory work provides for more sophisticated and varied practice of language structured learned. Daily homework is to be expected.

Honors Option: Students within this class have the option of electing the course at the honors level. In addition to the course description above, at the honors level, this course emphasizes aural/oral communication skills and expands basic reading and writing skills. Structured readers supplement basic materials to expand the student’s understanding of contemporary German culture.
