School Closings, Delays, & Late Start

Please note that the decision to close the schools once they are in session is made by Superintendent and is announced over local radio and TV stations. Please listen carefully for the latest information.

The Amherst School System also has a NEWSLINE (413-362-1898), that will carry announcements of school closings and/or delays due to poor weather.
