Policy IHBB: Students with Disabilities Requiring 504 Plans

The School District does not discriminate in providing equal access to programs, services, and activities on the basis of disability. Students with physical or mental impairments that substantially limit one or more major life activities are protected from discrimination by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

The school district will identify students who are disabled within the meaning of Section 504, will develop a 504 Plan for each of those students, and will provide them with appropriate accommodations.
