Volunteering

Mission and InvitationThe Amherst-Pelham & Regional Public Schools provide a rich array ofvolunteer opportunities which address the educational needs of allstudents and support educational programming and school communityneeds. Fortifying school success for all students fosters language,literacy and social skills. Community members and collegestudents are encouraged to become volunteers to supportlearning and to facilitate positive community involvement, partnershipand collaboration.

Volunteer opportunities in the Amherst-Pelham & Regional Public Schools include academic tutoring,lunch/recess monitors, afterschool programs,athletic coaching, performing arts productions and ARPS Family Center outreach programs and events.

Adults are encouraged to become volunteers and support students, staff and programs throughout the school year. All volunteers are required to complete a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) form as well as the Placement Form prior to service.
