The Munson Memorial Library has a very interesting history, with many people involved. These people worked to solve many issues about the building such as: where to put it, who to get the funding from, when to build it, what to make it be, how to order the rooms, and why to build it. If it weren't for them, we would never see the beautiful garden in the front yard, never check out one of the 18,000 books, magazines, and movies, and never have as many historical locations in Amherst. This website is to thank them, and to let people know about this wonderful place in Amherst history.
