The Articles of Confederation
Richard Henry Lee, from Virginia, proposed The Articles of Confederation to the Second Continental Congress. Maryland was the only one to object, because of a land claim. In 1981 congress passed the final draft of The Articles of Confederation. The articles were put aside in the year of 1989.
