The People involved in Daniel Shays' rebellion
There were many people involved with the Daniel Shays’ Rebellion. There were some people that were working with the government to stop the Rebellion, and some Shaysites (people working with Shays in the Rebellion). Most of the Shaysites were in their mid twenties and early thirties. Some of the Shaysites were, Eli Parsons, Deacon Gray, Adam Wheeler, and Luke Day. Some of the people that Dan Shays was opposing were: Gen. Benjamin Lincoln, James Bowdoin (the governor of the state), William Shepard (the general of the local militia), and the government in general. Look at these links to learn more.
