Sculptor
August Kiss was born in 1802 in Berlin. He died in 1865 also in Berlin. He was a member of the Berlin Academy in Germany. Then in 1841 he became a professor there. He was also the sculptor of other creations. For creating the Amazone (1837-41) he was awarded the best horse sculptor in Berlin! He also created another bronze cast of what they call St. George and the Dragon (1855).

Kiss died at the age of 63 in Berlin, Germany. He is still remembered for his artwork by many people for his statues
