Typhoid Fever

-The fever bacteria is caused from human waste

-Spreads from food or water

-Symptoms:

                  1) Fever, Headache, Back Pain, and 
                      Arm/leg pain

                  2) No appetite, nausea

                  3) Sometimes red spots

                  4) Slow heart rate

                  5) Constipation and diarrhea

                  6) Spleen enlarges

- It is an infection in the intestines

- Many people can get it in tropical places

- When people have it and handle food/water whoever eats the food can get it

- Watch out for raw fruits and vegetables, milk, and shellfish

- You may have it for weeks or even years

-You can't get it from being near animals, but they do carry it

- Areas with higher risks of getting typhoid fever are Africa, Asia, Central America, and South America
