Anna "Ma" Goodwin 

The Church is named after her family because of all they did for the church.

 She met her good husband, Moses Goodwin,  in 1891. 

In 1918, Ma Goodwin started the Colonial Inn, a boarding house and restaurant for Massachusetts State College students.

 Anna helped lots and lots of students at Massachusetts State College (Now University of Massachusetts) 

She also had five  kids. Their names were Steve, James,  Ruth, Olive, and last but not least, Amy.
