The original painting of "The English Gentlemen" is still
hanging today in the hall of the Jones Library.
On the top of the door engraved in stone is a pineapple, which then showed
hospitality! (Strange I know).
Renovated first in 1968 then again in 1991. The Jones
Library had a huge
change from the original design!
One room that has not changed from renovation is the children’s room!
And finally in the original design the Jones Library was equipped with a
large auditorium, filled with a stage, many chairs, a giant fireplace, and
even a motion picture film projector. But that was short lived the rooms
where all these luxuries were once found now holds many, many books!
