Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Crocker Farm School! Crocker Farm is a
wonderful place to learn and grow. The themes of our school can be characterized
by Achievement, Diversity, and Community. We celebrate achievement in all
academic areas, as well as aesthetics. As you walk around Crocker Farm, you will
notice the beautiful artwork from our sixth grade art award winners of recent
years. Our students are also honored for their academic achievements, such as
earning high marks on the New England Math League Contest and the National
Geography Bee. We have a talented and hard-working staff of educators who are
passionate about the achievement of our students. We celebrate diversity with a
curricular focus on social justice and culturally responsive instructional
practices. We build a wonderful sense of community through whole school events,
such as our school-wide celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King in January, our
musical production in the spring, and assemblies throughout the year. We are
fortunate to have an active Parent Guardian Organization, who supports teachers
and students by running programs such as the Summer Read-A-Thon, organizes
events such as the One World Festival, and contributes to the connectedness that
Crocker Farm students and families feel towards one another. As you explore the
various parts of our website, you will find practical information such as lunch
menus and calendars, be able to view curriculum information organized by subject
area, read our handbook to find important information spanning a wide number of
topics, and also a link to the PGO’s blog, which you can scan for upcoming
events during the school year. This is also a link to our newsletter, the
Crocker Chronicles. You will discover that Crocker Farm is an exciting place to
be!
