Photography II

Photography II 610 2 Credits

PREREQUISITE: PHOTOGRAPHY I

This course is for students who have completed Photography I, and who have mastered basic photography skills and want to continue to develop their skills and increase their knowledge in the field. Students will be exploring and using most of the following in a variety of assignments: Infrared film, Kodalith film, Reticulations, Sabatier, and Push processing. Students will be expected to be able to apply the concepts and skills they learned in Photography I in greater depth to the new assignments and techniques they will be learning in this course. Students will learn how to use the computer to get some similar, as well as some very different, effects to those they have learned to create in the darkroom. Although not required, it would be helpful if students have use of a manual 35mm camera or an automatic or an instamatic camera that uses 35mm film. Students who do not have access to a camera may borrow one from the school. There is a $10.00 maintenance fee for the loaned camera.
