Drama is an English class with two separate planes of activity: students independently read and analyze ten play scripts outside the classroom, with selections that span the whole tradition of dramatic writing. Class meetings usually include performance-exercises, rehearsed and improvised, individual and partneredùthe emphasis is upon group creativity. Students also compile an observation log, based on everyday behaviors they witness around them.
