OPEN TO SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS AND SENIORSThe purpose of this course is to train students in the skills necessary to become a peer advocate. This course will give students an opportunity to develop and improve interpersonal skills, examine attitudes and gain information around issues relevant to young people; i.e., decision making, peer pressure, substance use/abuse, sexuality issues and more. Students may apply and interview for a peer advocate position upon successful completion of the course.
