Peer Support Program

Peer Support Program 2 Credits

PREREQUISITE: PEER ADVOCATE TRAINING

Students will be assigned to the Peer Support Center for one period each day after successfully completing the Supporting Peers course and Peer Advocate application and interview process. Students involved in this program must be willing to serve as positive role models as they provide peers with support, information and resources related to issues including stress, violence, substance use/abuse and sexuality. Peer Advocates may also distribute condoms and informational pamphlets to students requesting them.
