LAB SCIENCE COURSE
Biology is a comprehensive college preparatory course. Topics covered include cell structure and function, biochemistry, evolution and classification, modern and classical genetics, and selected topics in anatomy and physiology, with an emphasis on humans. Class format will consist of lectures, discussions, investigative hands-on laboratory exercises as well as individual and small group activities. Evaluation will involve homework assignments, quizzes, tests, lab reports, and projects.
