Computer Aided/Mechanical Design in Architecture II 2 Credits

Not Offered in 2012-2013

PREREQUISITE: COMPUTER AIDED/MECHANICAL DESIGN IN ARCHITECTURE I

This course is the continuation of the first trimester architecture course.  Students will learn more advanced drawing and design techniques used in building, house design and drafting.  Students will become more skilled in dimensioning, scaling and detailing of the design.  Model making will also be a skill students will learn.  Students who choose to design and draw with the computer will use DATACAD drawing program.  Good measurement and math skills are helpful to students taking this course.
