Since the Amherst SFT club was established the club has done many campaigns. One for the World Bank the SFT Club also tried to stop the railroad construction from china to Lhasa in Tibet. The SFT Club also helped reduce the sentence of Tenzin Delek Rinphoche in Tibet.

      Every year the Amherst Students SFT Club hosts a march on march 10th, for the uprising and awareness of the issues in Tibet.
