College Fairs

A good way to introduce high school students in all grades to colleges is to visit college fairs. Representatives from 150-200 colleges hand out information and sometimes trinkets and are happy to try to answer any questions that students and parents have.

There are four fairs nearby during the school year and usually one in the summer.

Go to the website of NACAC, the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (www.nacacnet.org ) and choose the link to college fairs for complete information. Bookmark the site, as there is also a lot of other valuable college admission information there.
