COLLEGE BOARD

All students who took the PSAT in October, 2007 have free access to helpful testing and planning information through a brand new College Board program called My College QuickStart.

On My College QuickStart, you will find:

An online PSAT/NMSQT score report, including projected SAT score ranges, state percentiles, and the power to sort answer explanations by difficulty and question type
A customized SAT study plan
Personalized lists of colleges, majors, and careers
Access to MyRoad™, — the College Board’s online majors, college, and career exploration program. (It is similar to Choices Planner, but it is only available to students who took the PSAT in October 2006.).

On MyRoad, you can:

Take a validated personality assessment to get a detailed report on your personality type and interests
Explore a list of suggested careers and majors that fit your personality, interests and strengths
Search for colleges by location, major, cost, and much more
Find out what students and professionals have to say about their choices
Get tips on applying to college and succeeding in high school and beyond
Create an online portfolio for college and career planning

First Time Users:

1. Go to www.bridges.com. Site ID: 1212503

2. Click on Create a new portfolio. Password: hurricanes

3. Enter your required information including your Site ID and Password.

4. Select Choices Planner in the Your Tools box.

Returning Users:

1. Go to www.bridges.com. Portfolio Name:

2. Enter your Portfolio Name and Password. Password:

3. Select Choices Planner in Your Tools box.

Jump in Without a Portfolio:

1. Go to www.bridges.com. Site ID:

2. Enter your Site ID and Password. Password:

3. Select Choices Planner in Your Tools Box.

Save Your Plans and information All About You, such as your skills, interests, resumes and courses you’ve taken.
Check out Your Activities to see which assignments and tasks you’ve completed and what’s left to do.
Record your ideas and questions in Your Journal as you figure out what to do after high school.
