The Russian Club The Russian program has a very active Russian Club, which further explores areas of Russian culture, and is responsible for the extremely popular Russian Banquet, held every other spring. Other events in its annual cycle include an Evening of Russian Music, the Russian Whoop-de-doo, gorodki games, and exchange reunions, acting as sponsors of cultural events in the community; running a Russian Outreach program to the elementary schools, facilitating pen-pals with Russian children for community members, as well as raising money to support the endangered Siberian tiger. The Russian Club also has a Russian Chorus, a Russian Folk Dance Ensemble, and a Russian Orchestra, in which students are welcome to participate. Click here for Russian Club pictures.
