Every other year students from our Russian program (from Intermediate on) are given the opportunity of participating in our exchange program with Petrozavodsk, Russia. This is a tremendously enriching one-month home-stay/academic program, which is generously supported by the federal government. The Russian Club also raises funds to provide scholarship assistance for the exchange. So far, over 100 students from Amherst have spent a month in Russia as part of the exchange, and an equal number of visitors from Russia have attended ARHS. In addition, five Russian students from Petrozavodsk have been fully sponsored to attend ARHS for half a year.

The 2007-2008 exchange is over! Students from Petrozavodsk spent November 2007 in Amherst and students from Amherst spent February in Petrozavodsk, Moscow and St. Petersburg! Click here for pictures!
