On the first day of school, there will be two bus runs for students in grades 7-12. The second run, approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes later than the normally scheduled time, will pick up all other students who attend ARMS and ARHS.

During the first week of school, students should arrive at their stops ten minutes before the scheduled time. After that, they should arrive five minutes before the scheduled time.

The middle school and high school hours are from 7:45 am to 2:20 pm. Once a month, there is a late arrival day, when school starts at 10:00 am. On late arrival days, buses run 2 hours and 15 minutes later than usual.

All secondary students (grades 7-12) ride the same buses. These buses stop at both the middle school and the high school. Students who attend South East Campus (SEC) are transported from the high school to their school.
-
Students who live within 1.5 miles of school are not eligible for bus transportation. Elementary students are notified by their school if they are walkers who do not ride the bus.
-
Bus contractors are Five Star Transportation and Kusmeskus Transportation.

We consider safety first, not the time it takes to get to school. Students are picked up on their side of the street whenever possible. Streets have been rated and evaluated for safety continually over the last 18 years. Past practice may set a precedent.
