The award-winning film Somewhere Between, will be showing at Amherst Cinema on Sun April 28 at 2pm. The movie captures the lives of 4 Chinese adopted girls, now teenagers, exploring their identities. There will be a Q&A with one of the youths in the film afterward. Seating limited/pre-order tickets! Go to the “Amherst Somewhere Between Showing” Facebook page/talk to Zihui Adams with ?s.

GSA will meet the Monday after break in room 175 to plan for this year’s Pride March in May in Northampton! All are welcome!

Interested in participating in English Department’s Spring Poetry Slam? Come to a meeting this week to get more information. Interest meetings will be happening in Room 171 after school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Got questions before then? Can’t make it to any of these? APES-9 club meets Tuesday in Rm 237 to consume carbon substrate and to review all knowledge, known and unknown.

College Class Interest? Applications to take a college class for the 2013-14 school year will be distributed by A period teacher to every student who has indicated an interest through course registration. If you expected to get one, but didn’t, ask your teacher or come get a copy of the application after school in Room 309. The deadline to apply is April 24th.

A representative from the US Army will be in Guidance during lunches on Thursday, April 25th.

HAIKU CLUB is back and will have its first meeting of the spring on Tuesday, April 23rd, at 2:30 PM. Spring Rolls and really good green tea served with talk of our plans. Come to Room 115 and chill out, find out about this really cool club.
