Computer Graphics 580 2 Credits

This introductory one-trimester course is designed to help students develop presentation skills in visual/graphic arts and publications. Using industry standard applications Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop, students will explore the elements of digital imaging and graphic design. Students will learn how to integrate images and text to produce high quality publications and computer-based presentations. The curriculum covers photo retouching and image compositing, typography, color, magazine and web advertisement production, and logo design, among other projects. It is recommended that students who enroll in this class type at least 20 words per minute.
