English	Frost/Dickinson Analyzing Poetry Quiz on Tuesday (today 1/14) for all. We start Tom Sawyer on Wed and Thurs. You will receive your first homework assignment for TS this week.	.
Science	This week we will count the traits of our second generation of fast plants to see which traits were inherited. We will also begin work on a poem about our traits for exhibition and discuss and take notes on reproduction and genetic disabilities. HW-Heredity Practice, Plant data analysis. www.arps.org/USERS/ms/kellye/index.htm	Quiz beginning of next week.
Social Studies	Examine the “evidence” or proof of American values. Look more closely at beliefs and values. Begin our study of Africa. Start with creating a map – base map and two overlays. MCAS preparation work this week.	Patterns of Culture homework due on Friday, 1/18 for all classes. Definitions in notebook.
