How did Americans create a government based on democratic ideals and how have they transformed that government to better reflect changing interests, needs, and values?

This week, we will examine the conditions in Europe in the 1500s and 1600s which encouraged people to explore and colonize North and South America.

Homework: 

3 Political Issues which interest you--Due Monday 9/8 for C and F classes, Tuesday 9/9 for B and E.

Prepare for colony skits:  what information from your packet will you use in your skit?  Brainstorm story-lines for Monday, 9/15 and Tuesday, 9/16.
