Inquiry Unit: How can we use evidence to uncover the stories
of the past? This week we will finish our Geography Bee preliminary competitions, then continue with our Inquiry standards. We will focus on primary sources versus secondary sources and the advantages and disadvantages of various types of evidence. |
Due to the late start and the snow day, different classes are in very different places in the unit. Please consult the Homework Board for individual assignments and due dates. |

Post Modern Hand Painting Unit: We have been writing lists of our "Identity & Social Concerns." Our lists will serve as guides for developing symbolic imagery. We are in the process of creating sketches to incorporate these visuals into an interesting composition. Soon we will transfer to final paper and learn about painting and mixed media techniques. |
