How did America expand and what cultural interactions resulted from this change in territory and population?

This week we will begin to examine the westward expansion of the United States, with the Louisiana Purchase of 1803.

                     Lewis & Clark

Read chapters 7 and 8 (white packet)  Add information to your T-chart comparing the Federalist and Democratic-Republican political parties.  Answer questions about the Alien & Sedition Acts (yellow sheet).

If you have not yet completed your unit test, please finish it by Friday.

Transformations of Matter Unit

The goal for this week is for students to be able to explain understand basic gas laws (Boyle's and Charles') and examine the difference between atoms, molecules, symbols, formula and structures.
