How did America expand and what
cultural interactions resulted from this change in territory and
population? This week, groups of students will be finishing their presentations about interactions between settlers and Native American groups in the Ohio River Valley and the Southeast. We will then examine the Indian Removal Act and the removal of the Cherokee from their homelands in Georgia and Tennessee. |
