On Friday, January 25, all students and staff at ARMS participated in an assembly to honor the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Student speeches and artwork, and musical performances by teachers Michael Lawrence-Riddell and Marcia Gomes encouraged all in attendance to greater unity and empathy.

This event was organized by the teachers of the ARMS Social Studies Department.

On Saturday, January 19th, the 35th Annual MLK Community Breakfast was held at ARMS. It was a wonderful event with music, storytelling, and community celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We are so pleased to announce that ARHS senior, Karrington Dowe, was recognized at the breakfast and awarded the MLK Scholarship.
