ARHS Junior Named Russian Scholar Laureate

ARHS junior Natalia Ciesielska has been named a Russian Scholar Laureate for 2011 by the American Council of Teachers of Russian.  This honor designates Natalia as a member of a highly select group of Russian students from almost fifty secondary schools throughout the United States.

Natalia’s achievements include two gold medals in the National Russian Essay Contest, two gold medals at the New England Regional Olimpiada of Spoken Russian, and participation in the ARMS/ARHS Russian Club and in the Amherst-Petrozavodsk exchange.
