ARHS ELE Program Featured on The Today Show

The NBC Today Show visited Amherst Regional High School on Wednesday, June 10th.  Marta Guevara, the ELE Program Director, invited the show's producers to take a look at one of our ELE classrooms.  Ms. Snowdon, Ms. Abdow, and Ms. Pienkawa's intermediate level ELL students were filmed on Wednesday morning during class; a few people were also interviewed before and after class.  We were told by the producers that a brief report based on the visit  will air on The Today Show on Wednesday, June 17 or Thursday, June 18, between 7:00 and 9:00 am.  The focus of the report is on educating English Language Learners under the current law in the state of Massachusetts.
