
Pelham is 260 years old in 2003. The first meeting was on April 19, 1743. In May 16, 1743 some town records were lost in a fire. In 1744 the town voted that a school be kept for two months yearly and two years later the public school was held at the town hall. Through 1917-1962 the Annual Pelham old home day was held in September each year. In 1936 Shays 150th and 200th Anniversary held here. In 1946 Pelham had the Pelham Bicentennial Celebration. In 1971 the church opened up as Pelham historical museum. In 1993 Pelham was 250 years old. This is our report on the uses of the Town Hall Complex.
