Model Professional Development Grant
TLC-The Technology Literacy Connection
|
The Pelham Model Professional grant allowed 10 teacher-leaders to study early literacy software that enhanced the reading/writing curriculum for the primary grades. These 10 teacher-leaders then learned how to present workshops and gave presentations to other district primary teachers. The grant funds were used to provide honorariums for the teacher-leaders and to purchase the software. The grant also funded a laptop computer for teachers to use for their presentations, additional desktop computers for classrooms, a color laser printer, a digital camera, and a scanner. |
