Employees & Families of Employees Flu Clinics
The Health Insurance Trust has purchased flu vaccine for town employees, town retirees and their families, and will be offering FREE flu shots at three clinics in November. All Amherst, Amherst Regional and Pelham School employees and their families are eligible.
· Employee Clinic – October 27, 2010 2:30-4:30 p.m.

· Family Clinic – November 1, 2010 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Bangs Community Center
Pre-registration for each individual who wishes to receive flu vaccine is required and must be received by the Health Department no later than October 6, 2010. You may register yourself and family members by email (health@amherstma.gov) or by phone (413-259-3077.) If registering by e-mail, please provide the name and age of each clinic attendee.
Yearly flu vaccine is one important action in fighting the flu. Encouraging staff to be vaccinated, especially those at high risk for serious flu complications can help reduce illness and lost work hours. Everyday preventive actions, such as good hand hygiene and proper cough etiquette, also help stop the spread of germs in the work place
