Mr. Gould has been teaching for sixteen years, nine of those at Amherst High. Before that he taught for four years at a private K-8 school in Oakland, CA where he taught English and Creative Writing, and before that (his first teaching job) three years teaching both English and Social Studies at a private boys' school in St. Louis, Missouri. He has been coaching here at the high school for ten years. In St. Louis he was an assistant track and cross country coach for three years. He also coached freshman soccer (outdoor and indoor) there.
