Adopt-a-Shelf Program

Where: the Wildwood Library

Who: 5th and 6th grade Wildwood Students

What: A project where students adopt a shelf in the library. They are responsible for keeping their shelf in call number order.

When: Once or twice a week, students should check on their shelves either when their class is in the library or during some free time.

Why: The Wildwood Library is used by everyone in the school. The shelves must be kept in order so that everyone can find the books they need. With library staffing reductions, the students can do their part and contribute to the upkeep of the library.
