Subject to the availability of funds, the School Committee will maintain memberships in those national, state, and regional organizations through which the Committee obtains useful information, privileges beneficial to the system as a whole, or access to meetings and workshops which assist the members in serving the community.
The School Committee will take an active role in the activities of these groups.
It may also maintain institutional membership in other educational organizations which the Superintendent and the School Committee find to be of benefit to members and staff.
These affiliations will be a matter of public record. Current memberships include the Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC).
