Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment

Welcome to the Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment

Our department provides curriculum and instruction support for grades K-12, as well as professional development for all staff in the school district. As such, we work collaboratively with the administrators and staff in the schools, as well as other district-level offices. The Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment works to ensure that the curriculum is aligned to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, that the curriculum and learning expectations of students are aligned vertically so students are well-prepared for each grade in school, as well as their many options after high school, and that faculty and staff have the resources and training that they need to bring engaging lessons to all of our students.
