Our first ever Book Share & Tell at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art was a smashing success! Students from Wildwood and Fort River presented the books they love to create the ultimate summer reading list!  to check it out! 

The student vs. staff volleyball fundraiser event on May 1st was a great success thanks to all the students, staff and families that came out to support our cause. We’d like to thank all the local business donors that helped with food and raffle donations for the event, including AJ Hastings, Henion Bakery, The Works, North Hadley Sugar Shack, Pita Pockets, Big Y, and Bruno’s. In the end, the team of teachers was victorious!

We are very close to our goal for fundraising for the water bottle filler and reusable water bottles for ARMS!

The current last day of school for the year is Friday, June 14, 2019 and dismissal will be at 12:00 PM.

Ms. Hopkin's students visited the Botanic Garden of Smith College on April 29.  The trip offered students the opportunity to practice the academic language used in plant sciences and to enjoy a beautiful spring day.  The picture on the left is of Ruben Candelaria de Jesus in the rock garden, and the photo on the right is of DanQing Liang in the Succulent House of the Lyman Conservatory.

Sixth graders explored the question "How Does Social Change Happen?" through a Panel Discussion on Youth Activism this afternoon. The panel was led by two student moderators and the panelists provided insight from their collective wealth of organizing experience. Thank you to our panelists from The Sunrise Movement @sunrisenorthampton , The Student Strike for Climate @climatestrikema , The Turn it Around Campaign @TurnItAroundCtn , plus Congressman James McGovern @jimmcgovernma and @montebelmonte .
