Public Records Requests
Background
A person may request reasonable access to inspect and/or copy a public record as defined in MGL Chapter 4: Section 7 provided that: (i) the request reasonably describes the public record sought; (ii) the public record is within the possession, custody or control of the Public Entity receiving the request; and (iii) the Public Entity receives payment of a reasonable fee for the production of the public record as provided in MGL Chapter 66: Section 10.
Records Access Officer
Pursuant to the provisions of MGL Chapter 66: Section 6A, the Amherst, Pelham, and Amherst-Pelham Regional School Districts have appointed the following Records Access Officer who will coordinate the districts’ response to each request for access to public records:

Requests for access to Public Records should be specific, focused, and preferably in writing. Please clearly indicate that your message is a public records request in either the subject line or the first sentence of any written communication.
Please include your name, address, phone number, email address, and your preferred contact method IN YOUR REQUEST so we may properly respond.
Amherst, Pelham and Amherst-Pelham Regional School Districts Searchable Website:
The ARPS website is searchable and some Public Records that are typically requested can be found on the website for your convenience. However, please feel free to contact the districts’ Records Access Officer regarding any requests for information. Some typically requested public records that are available on the website are School Committee meeting agendas and meetings, district policies, and budget information.
Student Records Requests
The Registrar’s Office processes official transcript requests for former Amherst Regional High School students and graduates only.
If you are a current student, please contact your school counselor directly to request a transcript or call the Guidance Department at 413 362-1720.
HiSET score reports for Massachusetts are issued through DiplomaSender. Students can create an account at diplomasender.com to download or request their official HiSET transcript.

Important Information
This process applies only to High School transcripts (Grades 9–12).
The Registrar’s Office does not issue:
- Middle School transcripts
- Elementary report cards
- 8th-grade records
For records from other schools, please contact the school directly:
- Amherst Regional Middle School (Grades 7–8) – Contact the ARMS Main Office
- Elementary Schools (Grades K–6) – Contact your child’s school office
Each school maintains its own student records for those grade levels.

Request Your Transcript Online
The online request link will bring you to the UniPay website. From there, choose Amherst Pelham Regional School District, then choose Former Student Transcript Requests.
